General Dentistry at Dodge Dental Studio

Finding a dentist in Hartford, WI, that you feel understands your needs and is considerate of your care can be a difficult process. Many people feel intimidated or nervous at the dentist’s office, with noises and tools being heard in the background.

At Dodge Dental Studio, our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible while providing you with compassionate care. Our patient-driven treatment allows us all to work as a team to find the best options for you.

Implants

Dental implants serve to replace missing teeth with artificial teeth.

It is a short surgery that places a post into your mouth, which the artificial tooth is then placed on.

Crowns

A dental crown is a cover or cap for a tooth that needs extra protection. This could be for a tooth that is worn down, cracked, weakened, or damaged.

Veneers

Veneers are thin coverings that are placed on the front of teeth to reduce crookedness, misalignment, or discoloration.

Fillings

A filling is a treatment for a tooth damaged by decay that restores back to its normal function and shape while preventing further decay.

Tooth Extractions

An extraction means to have a tooth removed, usually because of disease, trauma, or crowding.

Root Canals

Root canal treatment is designed to eliminate bacteria from the infected root canal, prevent reinfection of the tooth, and save the natural tooth.

Dentures

Dentures are removable appliances that can replace missing teeth and help restore your smile.

If you’ve lost all of your natural teeth, whether from gum disease, tooth decay, or injury, replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health

Partials

A partial is a denture that replaces the missing teeth when someone still has multiple natural teeth remaining.

It is removable, not attached permanently to the teeth or jawbones.

Bridges

A bridge connects the gap where teeth used to be. It is a custom made fixed dental restoration and works by joining an artificial tooth to adjacent teeth or dental implants.

Teeth Cleaning

During a routine dental cleaning, your hygienist uses special tools to remove sticky plaque and hard tartar deposits from the surfaces of your teeth.

These cleanings are very important for preventing gum disease and even for treating mild forms of the disease (called gingivitis).

TMJ Treatment

The root cause of TMJ disorders plays a role in the strength and frequency of symptoms.

Most sufferers of TMJ report symptoms including stiffness of the jaw, difficulty chewing, frequent headaches, and more.

Mouth Guards

Roughly one in ten adults suffer from grinding of the teeth during sleep. Untreated, this can lead to chronic pain in the face and neck.

Dodge Dental Studio History

Our office was originally owned by Dr. Paul Scheunemann, who opened the practice in 1985. Dr. Emma visited the practice as a toddler and was so interested and inspired by her care. She went on to become a dentist herself.

She loved to see Dr. Scheunemann and wanted to recreate that experience for others. Dr. Emma and Dr. Ryan Dodge purchased the office in 2021 and continue to focus on excellent care and wonderful experiences for patients.
